Frequently asked questions

Answers to the most common questions about implementation and plan scope.

I only have one TV channel, one website, and one social network — is ORCA for me?
Yes, the Solo plan is exactly for you. You get Newsroom with AI generation, monitoring of 3 sources, web publishing and one social channel, and teleprompter script export — for 279 € per month and 399 € as a one-time implementation fee. As you grow, you can move to Starter or Studio and pay only the price difference.
What exactly does the one-time implementation include?
Implementation covers rolling out ORCA in your environment, connecting monitoring sources, configuring templates, training your editorial team, and, where relevant, migrating existing content. For Starter it is a basic setup; for Studio and Broadcast we add integrations for TTS, the TV renderer, roles, and approvals.
How long does deployment take?
Starter is usually ready within 2-3 weeks. Studio, with audio shows and fact-checking, typically takes 4-6 weeks. Broadcast for TV groups or large media houses is handled individually, depending on the scope of integrations, custom voices, and on-prem cluster requirements.
Can I start with Starter and move to Studio later?
Yes. You can change your plan at any time. You only pay the difference in the monthly fee and the one-time setup for the new modules being activated. Your data, templates, and history are preserved.
What is not included in the monthly price?
The monthly fee covers the ORCA license, support, and the operating costs of our stack. Third-party consumption-based API fees (Gemini, GPT-5, ElevenLabs) are billed separately based on actual usage — for large contracts we build these costs into the annual contract.
Can a plan be extended with additional projects or brands?
Yes. ORCA is designed for multi-brand and multi-region operation. Starter covers one main project, Studio covers several shows/titles, and Broadcast covers an unlimited number of projects under a single account.
What SLA and support are included in the plan?
Starter includes email support with a response time of up to 24 business hours. Studio has an 8/5 SLA with priority support. Broadcast includes a 24/7 SLA and a dedicated Customer Success Manager.
How does support for your own reading devices work?
ORCA can prepare scripts in teleprompter format and, on Studio / Broadcast, send them directly to your reading devices in the studio or newsroom. We support common prompters over LAN/Wi-Fi as well as a custom REST API. Starter includes export, while Studio and Broadcast add push delivery to devices.
What can the AI Presenter do, and how does it learn a specific presenter's style?
The AI Presenter prepares inputs, scripts, and notes for presenters, verifies facts, and adapts to their way of thinking. You provide sample materials — your texts, notes, older scripts — and ORCA learns from them how a given presenter phrases things, what they emphasize, and their preferred level of detail. It then refines its own prompting and keeps improving. Broadcast offers full personalization including learning from your materials, while Studio offers basic adaptation to tone and topics.

Not sure which plan is right for you?

We will set up a 20-minute walkthrough of ORCA and recommend a setup based on your projects and channels.
